Dr. Allison Wieler is originally from Walhalla, North Dakota. She grew up on a farm where her family raised corn, wheat, soybeans, pinto beans and had a small herd of beef cattle. She attended North Dakota State University and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2019. She then received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2024 from Kansas State University.

Dr. Wieler’s favorite animals to work with are beef cattle, but she is looking forward to working with all of the people and species that make up a rural community. When she’s not at the clinic, she loves to take her black lab, Wally, to the lake to go paddle boarding.

When asked why she chose to join the veterinary profession, Dr. Wieler said, “I love that there is always something to learn in every case. This profession is also the perfect combination of working with animals and people.”
