Originally from Connecticut, Jamie recently moved to LaMoure from Colorado to be closer to her parents. She holds a degree in Business and Communications from NDSU, certifications in multiple facets of the fitness industry from ACE, and is a nationally board-certified massage therapist. Jamie enjoys spending time with her parents, residents of LaMoure for 31 years, her son, two dogs Maggie and Bigsby, cat Sally, and her parents’ cat Noah.

When asked why she chose to join the veterinary profession Jamie said "I love animals and coincidentally, had intended on going to go to vet school when I graduated from high school. Life had other equally amazing plans and opportunities for me and, when I moved to LaMoure, I felt like this was another one of those opportunities."
