Tameka grew up on a farm near Edgeley, ND and graduated in 2020 from NDSU as a licensed vet tech. She and her husband, Lane, plan to move their cattle to their farm soon to add to their 7 friendly barn cats. Her hobbies include sewing, reading when she has the time, archery, learning new things, and spending time with her cows especially during calving.

When asked why she chose the veterinary profession, Tameka said “I have always enjoyed working with farm animals and love to learn about disease processes and healing. I delight in seeing smiles on clients' faces when they talk about their pets and getting to know the ranchers."
